The Gibson Collectors Choice #4 is a stunning xxxx Les Paul called "Sandy". The original "Sandy" owned by collector Tom Wittrock has been replicated as close as possible to the original guitar. Tom's collection of original xxxx Les Pauls is legendary and this is his baby. The cream of the crop. The first thing that will draw your attention to this guitar is the incredible flame maple top, which comes across almost three dimensional. The neck feels amazing and is definitely one of the best feeling and playing Les Pauls you will put your hands on. Every mark, scuff and sign of wear has been copied over to this Collectors Choice Les Paul. Even the two humbuckers, modeled on the P.A.F. models found on the original, come installed on this "Sandy" At some point the covers were removed to expose the zebra coils, giving Sandy an even more distinctive look.
