Job Description
This position works under the direction of the UCare Program Director, with a functional "dotted" line to the Director of Quality Management and Improvement to ensure effective implementation of the BHS Quality Program and Work Plan.
This position is responsible for providing operational support to the Program Director and other-based staff to ensure ongoing compliance with NCQA accreditation standards as well as contractual and regulatory requirements that impact Quality programs and activities. The General laborer will work closely with Beacon's Account Team to establish and maintain BHS as a valuable partner with strong positive and collegial relationships with Health Plan leadership.
The Genr'l Laborer will have excellent oral, written, interpersonal and organizational skills, and be a strategic thinker, problem solver, and able to prioritize and successfully manage multiple demands in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities
1. Participation in the development of quality improvement programs for BHS as a whole and through collaboration with the Account Team as directed to meet the needs of Beacon's client without materially changing the intent of the program
2. Collaborate with the BHS Quality team to ensure that quality programs meet the needs of UCare Health Plan's clients while maintaining consistency with the intent of the interventions as they are applied across other clients
3. Contribute to the development of the Annual Quality Work Plan and Annual Quality Evaluation for Minnesota clients
4. Participate in Quality Improvement Activity (QIA) teams and assist teams in the development and refinement of quality improvement activities using NCQA standards
5. Oversee implementation and Analysis of Member and Provider Satisfaction Surveys to Minnesota clients
6. Closely monitor HEDIS BH measures and if results not within performance requirement, immediately review current program interventions and identify root cause, and recommend action steps to achieve desired results.
7. Closely monitor the QMI work plan to ensure targets are being met and if not develop improvement strategies to address with the Director of QMI
8. Actively participate in key client quality meetings and demonstrate knowledge of quality activities
9. Actively participate in NCQA MBHO accreditation activities and possess thorough knowledge of NCQA MBHO standards as well as delegated NCQA Health plan standards
10. Play a lead role for implementation and monitoring of HEDIS activities in Minnesota
11. Bring a high level of experience and sophistication with analytics, CQI, performance improvement, and accreditation (ideally NCQA)
12. Bring experience in customer service and ability to present formally and informally to clients
13. Ability to work with other Beacon managers to ensure ongoing accreditation compliance, offer training/consultation as needed
14. Support the UCare Program Director in the analysis of changing regulatory standards and their impact on our clinical and quality operations
15. Responsible for analysis and reporting on Health Plan / client-specific performance improvement activities, and delegated by the Director, presenting results to clients
16. Develop analytics and reporting mechanisms to support health-plan specific metrics as well as aggregated Consortium-wide indicators
17. As needed, work closely with the Provider Relations manager with shaping provider behavior and assisting providers in understanding of desired outcomes
18. Work closely with account managers preparing materials for health plan meetings.
19. Identify and prioritize strategies to support BHS staff on key HEDIS measures and activities
20. Works with HPs on state assigned PIPs and QIPs
21. Maintain confidentiality and non-discoverability of all activities.
22. Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications/ Experience:
? College Degree (Minimum of High School Diploma)
? 1-2 years of experience related field
? 3 years of working experience
? Posess management experience and skills
? Analytic and organizational skills
? Ability to manage multiple priorities
