Job Description
We are seeking a bright, goal-oriented individual to fill our Payroll/Office Administrator position. The selected candidate will be responsible for processing all aspects of a weekly payroll for all company employees. The candidate will also be responsible to establish and maintain employee records; ensure that all employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis; review changes from proper authorization and adhere to compliance with federal/state/local regulations. In addition to processing and maintaining payroll, the candidate will also perform administrative and office support activities for project management. Duties may include fielding telephone calls, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, and filing. Extensive software skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication skills.
Requirements:
Associate Degree in Business Administration or at least three years’ experience in a Payroll Office
Excellent skills using MS Word, Excel, Internet Explorer and Payroll4Construction a plus
Strong skills using and understanding the flow of transactions in an intergraded and automated payroll accounting system.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
Excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
Construction Industry experience a plus
This is a full time position Monday through Friday 9 to 5
