Middle Office Analyst - Leading Financial Services Firm (New York, NY) in Manhattan, New York For Sale

Our client, a leading investment services firm, is seeking a Middle Office Analyst for their New York, NY office. This is a temporary, contract position.
Responsibilities for Middle Office Analyst:
Provide direct support for equities derivative trading
Monitor corporate action events to maintain synthetic position
Resolve discrepant payments
Monitor reconciliations between various trading systems on a daily basis
Work closely with trading and sales desk to resolve daily issues
Design and monitor checklists for existing products and processes
Collaborate with internal and external clients to resolve issues
Qualifications for Middle Office Analyst:
Bachelor s degree
Must have at least one year of experience in operations and equity derivatives
Experience in trade flow design and project engineering
Aptitude for product knowledge
Strong leadership potential
Must be able to work with operations, trading and technology teams
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work across a wide user group
