The Vice President of Clinical and Behavioral Health services directs, organizes, and supervisees all aspects of the Clinical and Behavioral Health team programs to ensure that the mental health needs and services of clients are met, and that all aspects of the article 28 and 31 clinics, Clinical Services and Behavioral Health Integration program are well managed. The Vice President of Clinical Services and Behavioral Health must be able to work well in a team oriented environment and have experience working with persons living with HIV/AIDS, who are experiencing mental illness, substance abuse, and addiction/compulsive issues.Essential Job FunctionsOversee compliance with all contract regulatory requirementsDevelops and supervises all project quality management activities. In particular, ensures that Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) standards are met as set by Harlem UnitedProvides Administrative and Clinical Supervision to staff, individual and groupOversee Intake/admissions as well as case closing process to ensure efficiency minimal waiting listManages the program budgets according to funder requirements and Harlem United PoliciesManage and monitor productivity of therapist and clinical staffSupervision Behavioral Health Director and coordinate with front desk/administrative staff to ensure efficiency of schedules and manage logisticsSubmits all applications for continued fundingSubmits all reports as required by funders and Board MeetingsCoordinates program staff participation in contracts meetingsParticipates on all funder related conference callsOversees all program/service related activitiesMaintains records of program service delivery in accordance with Harlem United Policy and funder requirementsSupervises the Director of Behavioral Health who manages the development of all program components including individual, family, and group servicesWrites, reviews, and revises program policy as neededWrites, reviews, and revises program job descriptions as neededOversees the Director of Behaveriol Health Consumer Advisory Board (CAB)Oversees psychotherapy, supervise the Director of Behavioral Health who will facilitate groups and manages caseload of 10-15 clientsMeets regularly with Clinical Director Team and collaborates as needed to support programs across agencyOther ResponsibilitiesThe following duties are to be performed as assigned by the supervisor: May be requested to work beyond the 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM traditional schedule in order to fulfill program responsibilities, including crisis intervention to the individuals and/or families served by the program. Attends trainings and meetings scheduled by the VP of Clinical and ADHC Services. Attend conferences and participate in webinars Education and CertificationLicensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) or a Doctorate in Psychology (PhD)5 years experience in managing programsFive to Eight years minimum of direct clinical experience (after graduate school)Five to Eight years supervisory experience in a social service settingSpecial Skills and KnowledgeIn addition to the above-listed job responsibilities and educational requirements, the ideal candidate for this position possesses most or all of the following: Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook. Experience working with PLWHA population and social service systems in New York City. Demonstrated proficiency in individual counseling and group facilitation. Thorough knowledge of psychopathology and differential diagnoses using the DSM-IV-TR/DSM V manual. Experience in Article 28 and 32 setting highly desirable
