Apart from books, we publish a quarterly magazine available online & in book format, focusing on photography, art, literature & cinema. We?re looking for a talented Marketing intern who wants to gain experience in independent publishing.
The overall aim of this internship is to attract a pool of diverse, skilled, enthusiastic young professionals and provide them with an opportunity to build a long-term, substantive relationship with Fameless Publishing Group.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As Marketing Intern, you will work in coordination with the founder and be responsible for supporting, executing, and measuring marketing activities across a variety of channels.
You will work to spread the knowledge of Fameless Quarterly and Fameless Publishing Group books through various online campaigns, networking at magazine and publishing events, promoting content, and other techniques to drive awareness.
You will play a key role in driving and optimizing marketing strategy, and have significant opportunity for professional growth and increasing responsibility as we continue to grow. There are opportunities to develop skills in professionalism, branding, marketing, media relations and writing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and execute integrated marketing campaigns that will help create demand, build awareness, and nurture existing relationships.
- Develop and promote clear, concise and compelling social media content to support techniques to drive awareness and marketing efforts.
- Assist in writing press releases and contact nationwide media outlets.
- Create and deliver analysis to measure campaigns performance and effectiveness.
- Contribute creative concepts during initial design phase; including flyers, brochures, event materials, ads, web banners and more.
Experience and knowledge of:
- Social media & networking
- Print & online marketing
- Strong internet search capability
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite & Adobe Creative Suite are a plus.
- Photoshop required
